Later in life, Dick and Margaret spend a lot of time in Star Valley, Wyoming and surrounding areas. Dick and Margaret traveled throughout the United States for work and pleasure. He loved to travel, no matter if it was camping or vacations. He loved the Savior and had a great testimony.ĭick loved to be outside, especially in the mountains. He is the co-founder of a theatre group named Company of Angels based in Los Angeles. He is an actor and singer who was known for his role on the television show Dr. Dick was a very dedicated and hard worker, full of integrity and honesty. George Richard Chamberlain was born on March 31, 1934, in Beverly Hills, California, United States. He also served in the Bountiful LDS Temple. After retirement he served as a missionary at the Bishop’s Storehouse. Dick was then hired by Salt Lake County as the Director of Contracts and Procurements where he worked for 26 years before retiring in 2011.ĭick was a convert to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he faithfully served in several callings throughout his years. He left the bank to briefly work for the State of Utah as a purchasing agent. When Dick returned from the Vietnam War, he began working at the Bank of Utah as a teller, eventually becoming a vice president. Dick served valiantly and was awarded the Bronze Star for meritorious service. He started his military service at Fort Carson, Colorado and then was deployed to Vietnam Where he served in the rank of Captain. After graduation he was commissioned a 2nd lieutenant and started his active duty in the Army as military police. While at Weber State he belonged to the ROTC. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple June 1977. He graduated from Ogden High School and attended Weber State University receiving his bachelor’s degree.ĭick married Margaret Alice Condie on April 10, 1969. and numerous nieces and nephews.Richard “Dick” Leigh Chamberlain, loving husband, father and grandfather, returned to his Heavenly Father on February 15, 2021.ĭick was born on Jto Howard Eugene and Edna Chamberlain, in Ogden, Utah. mother-in-law, Marge Larkin of Marysville, KS. sister, Joan Roberts and husband, Jim of Seneca, KS. and Kay Mills of Fort Worth grandchildren, Jordon and Grable Mills of Fort Worth, Nathan and Jamie Winters of Granbury and Joshua and Matthew Jenkins of Cleveland, GA. He liked fishing, shooting, family, grandchildren, was a tool man, antique cars and outdoor sports. He was a member of the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ, church deacon and property chairperson.
